Selma
Homely, happy, harmonious.
Step inside Selma and you'll feel it immediately — that warm, sunny feeling you get on a slow morning with nowhere to be. Her bright yellow interior, beautiful timber woodwork and koru-shaped cut-out give her a charm all of her own. Her wrap-around windows mean you're never really inside — the bush, the coast, the mountains are always right there with you. Perfect for two people and a dog who just want to see where Aotearoa takes them.
“We had an amazing trip in Selma - 3 weeks around the whole North Island! She was super reliable, very comfortable, excellently equipped, and all-round great experience - would thoroughly recommend! Logan was very helpful at pick-up and drop-off and we look forward to our next trip on the South Island!”
“We had the best time in Selma! So great that we could bring the dog along. Everything worked so well and it was great to drive. Loved all the personal touches like the detailed ceiling and koru cut out. Book her now you won’t regret it”
“I had the most amazing time in Selma with my furry babies. Memories for life and I’m so grateful for this experience. The camper van was so beautifully decorated and very thoughtfully made. Thanks again! ”
“I had such a great week with Selma exploring the North Island! She was a very comfy and well-thought-out home from home and Logan was a super helpful and friendly host who went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed and even kindly dropped me down at the ferry port after my hire to help me get back to the city. Highly recommend! ”
There's something quietly magical about Selma. Her leafy green ceiling, golden yellow accents and koru-shaped cut-out give her the feeling of a forest hideaway — somewhere between a Hobbit hole and a sun-dappled clearing. Handcrafted to the highest standard, right down to the button-topped, magnet-and-velcro curtains. She's compact, characterful, and built for two.
Her size is genuinely part of the appeal — easy to drive, light on fuel, and comfortable sliding into spots that would stop a bigger van in its tracks. The fixed double bed means no nightly assembly routine, and two oversized rear drawers keep everything organised: one for storage, one housing a fully-equipped kitchen ready to pull out at a moment's notice.
Cook up dinner on the gas stove, crack open something cold from the fridge, and eat outside under the awning. Need to get some work done first? The pull-out table makes a surprisingly decent desk — grab a drink, open the laptop, and pretend you planned it this way all along. When the day's done, fall back onto the bed and take in the views through the side window or rear door. Selma has a way of making you slow down.
She's freedom camping certified, pet-friendly (best suited to a small or medium-sized dog), and comes with solar, an inverter, outside shower and reverse camera as standard. Summer adventures don't have to be complicated.
